Refund & Cancellation Policy

About Discover Gran Canaria

Discover Gran Canaria SCP acts as an independent booking agency and intermediary between customers and third-party tour operators, activity providers and transport companies.

The operator responsible for delivering the activity is indicated on the booking confirmation and/or ticket.

In most cases, the amount paid through our website is a deposit used to secure the reservation. Any remaining balance, where applicable, must be paid directly to the operator according to the conditions specified for the selected activity.


Right of Withdrawal

Most products offered through Discover Gran Canaria are leisure services, tours, excursions and activities provided on a specific date or during a specific period.

Under applicable European consumer legislation, the statutory 14-day right of withdrawal may not apply to leisure services scheduled for a specific date or period.

The cancellation and refund conditions described below apply to bookings made through this website.


Standard Cancellation Policy

For bookings of up to 3 participants:

  • More than 24 hours before the activity: eligible for a full refund of the deposit paid to Discover Gran Canaria.
  • Less than 24 hours before the activity: the deposit is non-refundable.

Group Bookings

For bookings of 4 or more participants:

  • More than 72 hours before the activity: eligible for a full refund of the deposit paid.
  • Less than 72 hours before the activity: the deposit is non-refundable.

Multi-Vehicle Bookings

For bookings involving 3 or more vehicles, including buggies, quads or jet skis:

  • Deposits are non-refundable once the reservation has been confirmed.

This is due to limited availability and capacity allocation requirements imposed by operators.


Private Yachts, Private Boats and Exclusive Charters

Unless otherwise stated on the product page, quotation or booking confirmation:

  • Deposits paid to secure private yacht, private boat or exclusive charter reservations are non-refundable.
  • Additional cancellation conditions may apply depending on the operator.
  • Any specific conditions communicated before booking confirmation shall prevail over this general policy.

Combo Packages

For bookings that include two or more activities sold as a package:

  • Refunds are generally not available.
  • If one activity becomes unavailable, Discover Gran Canaria will attempt to provide an alternative date or an alternative activity of similar value.

Operator Cancellation

If an activity is cancelled by the operator due to weather conditions, operational reasons, technical issues or safety concerns, customers may be offered:

  • an alternative date;
  • an alternative activity;

or

  • a refund of the amount paid to Discover Gran Canaria.

Rescheduled Bookings

If a customer accepts a new date offered by the operator or Discover Gran Canaria, the booking will be transferred to the new date.

Any subsequent cancellation request will be assessed according to the cancellation conditions applicable to the rescheduled booking.


No-Show

No refunds will be provided in the event of:

  • failure to attend the activity;
  • late arrival;
  • failure to attend the designated meeting point;
  • failure to meet participation requirements specified by the operator.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method used during checkout.

Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and financial institution involved.
